What do vloggers use?

I've seen so many vloggers that look ethereal; do you know how they're getting that look? I believe it has to do with the lighting. I wonder what they use.

My understanding is that they use a combination of mirrors, lighting, and makeup to create that effect. I don't think it's an editing trick, because I've seen vloggers livestreaming who have that look.

@LifeCaptured, there are camera filters and software filters that you can apply to get that effect while livestreaming. I'm not sure which ones they are, though. I don't like the effect. It looks so fake to me.

Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks for tagging me; I learned something new today. I work on lighting my photos to perfection, but I'm not very knowledgeable about the mechanics of vlogging.
