No new flagship

I ran across this article on CNET which suggests that Cannon won't be upgrading their flagship DSLR model again. The company believes that mirrorless cameras have become so wildly popular, that it's not worth updating anything else. Do you agree?

I bet they'll regret it and will eventually walk that statement back. Otherwise, they're giving Sony a chance to take some of their market away.

Maybe they have bigger fish to fry. Canon has been in the game long enough to where I don't see them shooting themselves in the foot.

I'm sure there's a method to this madness.

Like maybe their budget, perhaps. That is a method that can make you do misunderstood things.

I'm watching this to see how it plays out.

I'm sure we'll see something bigger and better coming down the pipeline real soon. Now that the sourcing issues have been managed, they've got no reason not to go for it.
